I respect your opinions and the level of analysis you have put into this. It’s certainly food for thought. I actively try to avoid political discussions in forums that aren’t political because it’s everywhere. Genealogy is one area where I can usually do that. Just some honest feedback. Thank you for leading the way in applying AI to genealogy.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't plan on making a habit of addressing political issues, but this case seems to cross a threshold. This technology has a mess of problems and thorny issues, and I'm not opposed to regulation and perhaps licensing and taxation of AI, but this doesn't seem like the right way to get there.

We'll return to our regular programming ASAP. I had access to Fable 5 for those three days, and I used the heck out of it, and I was blown away. These Mytho-class models truly are a step change ahead of Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5. So I've got some notes and experiments that I got far enough along with to share some initial results. Even though we don't have Fable today, I can use Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5, two very fine models, to write-up my Fable 5 experience.
